William Crozier

Painter, who was born in Yoker, Glasgow of Irish parentage and studied at the Glasgow School of Art, 1949-53 where his tutors included Mary and William Armour, and David Donaldson, before spending time in Paris. He also worked as a set painter for the Olympia Theatre and the Theatre Royal in Dublin. His first one-person exhibition was held in London in 1957. From the early 1980’s, Crozier spent part of each year in West Cork, Ireland and also taught at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham and at Winchester College of Art as Head of Painting.
