Jamie Boyd

1897 - 1994

Jamie Boyd is an Australian-born painter who moved to England in 1959 to pursue his passion for music and painting. He had his first solo exhibition in 1966 at the Bonython Gallery in Adelaide, Australia. By 1968, he was working with Polish artist Kazimir Glaz at the Michael Karolyi Foundation in Vence, France.

Boyd has exhibited his works in various galleries, including the New South Wales House in London in 1980, the Chappel Galleries, and the North House Gallery in Essex. Despite living in England for many years, he still regularly visits Australia.

It is worth noting that Jamie Boyd is the son of renowned Australian painter Arthur Boyd, who was a prominent figure in the Australian art scene in the 20th century.
